Exhibition promotion

This a small poster I designed to promote my final project work of my Foundation year before entering the BA course. The theme was 'Tribe' and the figures shown are photographs of wooden cut-outs designed and painted by myself. They stand at over 6ft tall. This was a fine art project. Play promotion

Artwork in support of a play which toured South Wales. It appeared in poster form at A3 and A4 and on flyers at A5. Click on the image to see a bigger version.

Theatre auditions

Two versions of an audition poster for Everyman Theatre, Cardiff. The client wanted sans serif type (not specified in the brief) so the original poster, with an art noveau flavour, was revised with more of an art deco feel. I prefer the original. Click on an image to see a bigger version.

Publication design

This college project involved evolving a new alphabet and then applying it (in context) in a double page spread. I used my collection of old DC and Marvel comics for scans of various titlepieces and used some of those letters for my alphabet. The DPS was for an imaginary publication featuring an article which suggests that, in a time of recession, old articles like vintage comics make a good investment. Click on the image to see a bigger version.
