Not so much a blog – more a shop window
Though I run my own business, principally concerned with writing and designing for publications, I am currently in my third and final year of a BA Hons in Graphic Communication, studying at ATRiuM, Cardiff – the creative arts campus of the University of Glamorgan. As part of my
on-line portfolio project I'll be using this blog to showcase some of my work from both spheres.

Book jacket design
This book jacket was designed for a competition marking the success of Barry (South Wales) in a national reading promotion. Towns which successfully encouraged library usage and reading were given a 'Reading Town' award. The dominant feature of the front cover is a Photoshop-treated photograph of a statue of David Davies, a coal baron and docks owner who effectively put Barry on the map during the coal and iron boom years.
