Book jacket design

This book jacket was designed for a competition marking the success of Barry (South Wales)  in a national reading promotion. Towns which successfully encouraged library usage and reading were given a 'Reading Town' award. The dominant feature of the front cover is a Photoshop-treated photograph of a statue of David Davies, a coal baron and docks owner who effectively put Barry on the map during the coal and iron boom years. Click on the image to see a bigger version.
